  1. From the clever “Kiss the Bride” to the alternating falsetto and deeper-than-usual vocal in “One More Arrow” 2V40 wasn’t favorite Elton John album in several years. And you couldn’t turn on the radio w/o hearing “I Guess That’s Why They Call It the Blues” or “I’m Still Standing”, which at the time was fine with me/5().

  8. Different sound, and admittedly a couple flops, but this is one of his most quality albums of the 80s. Too Low for Zero was recorded at one of the more critical moments of Elton's career and life, and likewise he really unleashes emotion into his tracks/5(46).
